Attorney Profiles Seth P. Hobby Salt Lake City, Utah
Seth Hobby is a member of the Litigation department, working primarily in the firm's Salt Lake City office. Mr. Hobby focuses on complex commercial litigation, business litigation, corporate criminal defense and bankruptcy. His employment litigation experience has focused on defending breach of contract claims and ERISA violations. He also represents clients in personal injury matters. Mr. Hobby has also had significant experience representing clients in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hobby graduated from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School, magna cum laude, where he was a senior editor of the BYU Law Review and Lead Articles Editor of the International Law and Management Review. He also worked on the executive committee of the BYU International Law and Religion Symposium. Mr. Hobby has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Brunel University, West London. Prior to joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Mr. Hobby worked in London for several years as a paralegal for the international chief counsel of a large U.S. multi-national corporation.
