Scott Bell is a member of the Litigation department, where he concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation, media law, health care law, constitutional issues and securities.
He received his J.D. with High Honors, magna cum laude, from the Duke University School of Law and was named to the Order of the Coif upon graduation. While at Duke, Scott served on the editorial board of the Duke Law Journal. Scott is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and has represented a number of clients in the health care field. In particular, he has advised clients on compliance with the federal physician self-referral law (Stark Law) and the anti-kickback statute. He has also provided guidance on the prescription drug benefit under Medicare Part D.
