Patricia Parkinson Glenn is a shareholder in the Litigation department and concentrates her practice on white collar crime, criminal law, securities litigation, personal injury and mortgage fraud. Before joining the firm, she was a deputy district attorney in the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office. Patricia also worked as an associate city prosecutor with the Salt Lake City Prosecutor's Office and as an attorney with the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association. She has tried more than 50 jury trials, including homicides, drug offenses, sexual assaults, domestic violence and DUIs. While attending law school, Patricia served as a criminal clinic intern with the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association; a law clerk for the attorney general of Utah in the Securities and Antitrust Division; and a judicial intern for Judge William Thorne in the Third District Court. Before law school, Patricia traded commodities futures and options on the Chicago Board of Trade for five years. In 1999, Patricia graduated with a J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law, where she served as vice president of the Student Bar Association in 1997-1998. In 1991, she graduated with bachelor's degrees in journalism and German from New York University, where she received the Founders Day Award for highest bracket of scholastic performance.
