John Delaney is a shareholder and member of the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation Group. John concentrates his practice on trade secret, trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, and false advertising litigation matters, including Internet domain name disputes. John is also involved in patent litigation matters involving electronic commerce issues. In 1992, John graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor of science degree in political science. John is a 1999 graduate of the University of Utah College of Law.

- Assisted in successful representation of bobsled pilot and four-time Olympian Sandis Prusis and the Latvian Olympic Committee in the Tribunal Arbitral Du Sport, Court of Arbitration for Sport (“CAS”), Ad hoc Division - XIX Winter Olympic Games in a case against the International Olympic Committee (“IOC”), which reversed an IOC decision and resulted in Mr. Prusis being able to compete in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah (CAS arbitration No CAS 0G02/001)
