George M. Flint concentrates his practice on the legal and business needs of high growth companies with an emphasis on acquisitions, financings and the ongoing representation of technology driven businesses. Drawing upon an extensive mergers and acquisitions and international law background, he has counseled clients in all stages of development including managing the results of rapid growth and preparing established businesses for sale.
George has considerable experience in the formation and financing of businesses as well as in providing guidance in the areas of corporate governance, licensing, marketing, crisis management, e-business and website operations. He regularly supervises and executes a variety of major business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and strategic outsourcing relationships, both within the United States and internationally. As part of his practice, George structures and prepares agreements for build-to-order supplier arrangements, strategic technology development and acquisition and licensing and marketing arrangements.
George has participated in more than 75 mergers and acquisition transactions and financings valued in the aggregate at more than $15 billion.
George joined Parsons Behle & Latimer in 1995. During 1997 and the first half of 1998, he served as acting in-house senior corporate counsel to Iomega Corporation. He began his legal career in New York where for nine years he was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in its New York and London offices. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a loan officer in the Corporate Banking Group of the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in New York. George is president of the Utah Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers For Business.
