David R. Hall is a shareholder in the Litigation department and co-chair of the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation section. He maintains a general litigation practice in Utah and Nevada. David has represented Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals before state courts, federal courts and in arbitrations. He has significant experience assisting clients with: commercial contract disputes, U.C.C. and lender-liability issues, securities litigation, real property disputes and personal injury claims.

David graduated from the University of Utah College of Law where he was a William H. Leary Scholar, and executive editor of the Journal of Land, Resources, & Environmental Law. David was selected to be a member of the law school's National Moot Court Team that won the regional moot court competition. Before attending law school, David worked as a paralegal in the legal department of one of the largest private employers in the state of Utah.

Prior to joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, David was a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Utah and spent two summers in San Francisco, California clerking for a civil litigation firm. In 2004, David took a one year leave of absence from the firm to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Dale A. Kimball of the United States District Court, District of Utah.
