Keli Beard is a member of the firm's Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources department, where she concentrates her practice on natural resources and energy issues. Before joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, she served as an assistant attorney general in the Utah Department of Natural Resources, focusing primarily on issues for the Divisions of Oil, Gas & Mining and Water Rights.

Ms. Beard graduated with a J.D. degree from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law. During law school, she was elected to Order of the Coif.  Ms. Beard also served as the articles editor of the Utah Law Review, was awarded the Patrick O'Hara Fellowship in Natural Resources and the Stephen Pierre Traynor Legal Writing Prize, was named a William H. Leary Scholar, and received CALI awards for the highest grade in legal writing, criminal law and continuing issues in natural resources.
